Oro by Lafaenza Ceramica
Vanity. Oro synonymous with precious material. Oro as an inspiration of sought-after materials.
Oro as a ceramic project inspired by the marvels of nature and interprets four of them. BLUE LACE AGATE originating in South America, and its name is inspired by the drawing of the stripes that seem to create a delicate lace. In nature, this agate appears as semi-transparent with large bands that range from white to blue with different shades. OCEAN BLUE, a spectacular onyx from Central Asia where every split is a work of art. Grey/dark blue shadings mix with bluish-white surfaces, impregnated here and there with ochre and gold colourings. IVORY CREAM is extracted in Sicily. It is a material that is part of the marfil cream group and a comparison with this proves to be brighter with an ivory colour (not yellowish) and is characterised by subtle rusty coloured veins. ILLUSION BRONZE comes from the heights of Asia Minor. Its unusual aesthetic appearance deludes the observer as though s/he were looking at a piece of marble that was not real but painted. Its accentuated veins range from brown to beige and from bronze to bluish grey.
Oro is proposed in the new 90 x 180 cm format and classic format of 90 x 90 cm shiny gloss-honed version and 60 x 120 cm and 60 x 60 cm format both in the natural version with homogeneous surface and in the shiny semi-polished version. The widely varying Oro project communicates harmoniously with Terra, a antique style terracotta in four fashionable colours.
